This sneaker has a sporty design with a very successful cut, offering an elegant and original look. The SOFT-AIR midsole and SHOCK-ABSORBER integrated into the outsole reduce shock to a minimum for a smooth, fatigue-free walk. AIR-RELAX technology respects the anatomy of the foot to prevent arch collapse. In addition to the lacing system, it's easy to put on thanks to its side zip. The leather lining ensures a healthy climate inside the shoe. This green women's model is made from suede leather over the whole foot, with inserts in ivory grained leather.

THE PROPER FIT FACTOR

You may have never experienced properly fitting footwear; it may be that Mephisto will fit differently than any shoe you have ever worn. This is a common experience and it should be noted that proper fit is critical to comfort. With walking, it is important to give your toes a substantial degree of freedom. They should never be “locked in”, one against another. Mephisto shoes should provide plenty of room in the toe area. The same thinking applies to your heel. The Mephisto heel is not designed to fit snug. A comfortable walking shoe will flex and bend with your foot. Your foot should be cradled, not bound. A properly fitting shoe should not have to be “broken in” to be comfortable…they should be comfortable from the very first step you take.

Sizing

Sizing can vary from style to style which means you may not wear the same size in all your shoes. Also, our sandals are available in full sizes only. If you are normally a half size in a Mephisto shoe, you should size up to the next size. Below are some size conversion charts which offer general guidelines for converting your size to another scale.

I bought these as replacement for some old Mephisto shoes. The style was the same but a new attractive color. However, these shoes were much heavier. Instead of light weight breathable material, the shoes were all leather. Also the insert was not as comfortable.

Little disappointed. Inside of shoe uncomfortable . For the price I expected inside of shoe to be cushier and not so stiff.
