I was disappointed when my original sandals started falling apart much sooner than expected, especially considering the reputation and price point of Mephisto USA. However, I have to give credit where it’s due — their customer service stepped up and made things right by sending me a replacement pair.
While the initial quality issue was frustrating, the company stood behind their product and handled the situation professionally and fairly. That level of customer support definitely improved my overall impression, and it’s reassuring to know they value their customers and honor their commitment to quality.
Just bought these yesterday. They are gorgeous and have just enough bling to elevate any outfit. Mephisto sandals are SO comfortable; I have 2 other pairs, one of which is 4 y.o. (Helen style) and they have held up beautifully. I am a Birkenstock die-hard (many foot issues & toe surgeries) but Mephisto sandals are a bit less bulky and although their footbed is much different, they are just as comfortable on long walks.
This was my 5th pair of these type of sandals. I love them all!
