I had trouble getting my foot in shoe with the tongue sliding forward. After a few tries I held the tongue and used a shoehorn. Now all I do is just hold the tongue with my finger and thumb and my foot slides right in. Very comfortable and stylish. My sixth pair of Mephistos!
